About Kanada Hockey

KANADA HOCKEY was founded in the early 1990s as an initial foray into the nascent field of girls hockey.  This included a girls hockey school, a summer league, a Selects club showcasing girls for NCAA scholarships, and a college recruitment tournament.   KANADA HOCKEY is proud of its four graduates who won gold medals for Canada at the Turin Olympics - Sarah Vaillancourt of Sherbrooke, Gina Kingsbury of Rouyn-Noranda, Charline Labonté of Boisbriand and Caroline Ouellette of Montreal.

Unique contributions to the growth and success of KANADA HOCKEY were made by four well-known hockey personages - Jim Webster, Peter Smith, Mike McNamara and Brian Hart.
