Kanada Hockey's Prep School
Hockey Showcase is
now into its 12th season of showcasing male and female student-athletes before
Canadian and US prep schools for financial-aid awards.
During the 11-year period over 165 student-athletes have been awarded
financial-aid packages at various US and Canadian prep schools.
This year Prep School Hockey Showcase will be held Monday
November 24th, 2008 at Pierrefonds Sportplexe from Noon (midi) to 8:00 PM.

The 2001 Showcase is remembered for having one Olympic gold medalist and three NHL draft picks. Sarah Vaillancourt of Sherbrooke, QC (Pomfret) won gold for Canada at the Turin Olympics, while three boys went on to be drafted by NHL - Colin Fitz Randolph of Canton, NY (Phillips Exeter, Shea Guthrie of Carlton Place ON (St.Georges's School), and Torrey Mitchell of Greenfield Park, QC (Hotchkiss). Mitchell became the first Showcase grad to play in the NHL, suiting up this year (2007) with San Jose Sharks.
